Fat Bloom

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us on Famous Amos® cookies, which we deeply appreciate.

Based on the picture and videos that you have shared, the white spots are actually ‘chocolate fat bloom’.  Chocolate fat bloom is a common occurrence and could happen due to changes in temperature.  We had conducted an independent lab test previously and cookies with chocolate fat bloom are safe for consumption.

However, we would be most happy to replace the cookies if you have any concerns. Let us know what are the cookie gifts that you have on-hand for us to arrange replacement. We would also need your address for us to deliver the items to you.

Hope this clarifies and we look forward to your soonest reply.
