Scenario Customer inquiring about 5% SST on cookies item

Standard reply to customer

Question 1 Customer: Why are you charging 5% SST now? Teammate: Following the latest government ruling, it is necessary for us to impose 5% SST on all cookie products at the moment.

Question 2 Customer: Since when did you impose this SST? Teammate: It’s effective 1st August 2023.

Question 3 Customer: Do you charge SST for all products? Teammate: SST is only chargeable for all cookies products, for example, cookies in bag, big cookies, gifts collection, and gift packs

Question 4 Customer: I purchased non-SST chargeable items as well, how do I know if you exclude those from SST? Teammate: You may refer to your purchase receipt, there will be SST section at the bottom. If you are still unsure, please do not hesitate to email to enquiry@famousamos.com.my for further clarification.

Question 5 Customer: I opted for receiptless just now, can I still request for it now? Teammate: Yes, you can.
